Our Beginnings
Bill Levine and his wife Ina moved to the Valley from Brooklyn in 1960. They and their three children were active members of the local Jewish Community Center, then located in Central Phoenix. As their family and community roots grew, so too did the success of Bill’s business ventures.
When Ina passed away in 1999, Bill wanted to provide a fitting memorial to her devotion to Jewish life and causes. At the time, the existing JCC was looking for a new home, so Bill purchased 30 acres at Sweetwater and Scottsdale Roads. He donated the land to build and with his generosity and that of many other community donors, the Ina Levine Jewish Community Campus was opened in 2002 and became the hub of the Jewish and greater community.

Today, the campus is home to the Valley of the Sun JCC, Pardes Jewish Day School and several other Jewish agencies. It features airy venues for meetings and special events, as well as sports fields, gymnasiums and classrooms.
Though the campus is founded on Jewish values such as being kind and repairing the world, it is an inclusive center where are all are welcome regardless of faith, background or ability.
